CVC, a leading global alternative asset management firm, entered into transaction agreements for a strategic investment in Dream Games, the developer and publisher of globally renowned mobile games Royal Match and Royal Kingdom. Founded in 2019, Dream Games is best known for its mobile game Royal Match, the global #1 puzzle game by revenue. In November 2024, Dream Games launched its highly anticipated second mobile game, Royal Kingdom, the next chapter of the Royal mobile games universe. Both games have achieved global success, with Dream Games recognised as a leader in delivering high-quality, innovative and engaging mobile gaming experiences to customers across the world.
The transaction is expected to close upon completion of customary regulatory approvals and structuring steps.
Paksoy is pleased to announce that a team led by partner Ayşe Demirel Atakan and senior associate Aslı Eryılmaz together with associate Bengisu Babalık acted as Turkish counsel to CVC on this transaction, whereas the financing arrangements of the transaction were advised by partner Sera Somay and associate Bülent Öztürk. Tax partner Şansal Erbacıoğlu advised on tax aspects of the transaction.
