H.I.G. Capital, a prominent global alternative investment firm overseeing $74 billion in capital, has acquired Atlas Dunnage, a leading manufacturer of polypropylene dunnage air bags with over three decades of production expertise. The acquisition represents the Turkish leg of a multi-jurisdictional transaction for the CargoTuff business across the United States, the Dominican Republic, and Türkiye.
Paksoy is pleased to announce that a team led by partner Elvan Aziz and including associates Hazal Şenol, Mustafa Karadaş and Serra Yıldırım, as well as associate Lale Ayrancıoğlu (for labour law aspects) acted as Turkish counsel to H.I.G. Capital on this transaction, alongside Paul Hastings, Chicago office as global counsel.
