We are delighted to have acted as legal counsel to KOTON’s founding shareholders Mr Yılmaz Yılmaz and Ms Gülden Yılmaz. The public offering was oversubscribed and the size was almost TRY 4.2 billion. The company commenced trading on Borsa Istanbul’s Star Market as of 10 May 2024.
As Türkiye’s one of the leading fashion brands, KOTON operates with nearly 450 stores in 28 countries today. The company has over 8,000 employees and brings together 300 million visitors annually with over 24,000 product range.
The Paksoy team working on the deal was led by the founding and senior partner Serdar Paksoy and advised by partners Nihan Bacanak on corporate matters, Ömer Çollak and Ökkeş Şahan on capital markets, and Togan Turan on antitrust aspects.
