We’re Hiring – Banking & Finance Senior Associate
Paksoy is seeking a Banking & Finance Senior Associate with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience to join our Banking & Finance practice.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including acquisition finance, corporate lending, project finance, refinancing and restructuring matters, as well as security arrangements and regulatory banking matters.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage financing transactions from inception to closing;
- Draft, review and negotiate finance documents, security documents and ancillary transaction agreements;
- Advise lenders, borrowers and sponsors on complex financing structures, security arrangements and regulatory matters;
- Coordinate transaction processes and liaise with clients, financial institutions, counterparties and external advisors;
- Support closings and post-closing matters, including perfection of security interests and regulatory filings
- Supervise and mentor junior team members;
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting banking and finance transactions
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in banking and finance practice, preferably at a reputable law firm
- Strong experience in domestic and cross-border financing transactions;
- Good knowledge of Turkish banking, finance and security laws and regulations;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills;
- Ability to manage transactions and workstreams independently;
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills;
- Proactive, detail-oriented and commercially minded approach.
