We’re Hiring – Banking & Finance Associate (Mid Associate)
Paksoy is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience to join our Banking & Finance practice.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including acquisition finance, corporate lending, project finance, refinancing and restructuring matters, as well as security arrangements and regulatory banking matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist lenders, borrowers and sponsors in a wide range of financing transactions;
- Draft, review and negotiate finance documents, security documents and ancillary transaction agreements;
- Conduct legal due diligence reviews and assist with transaction structuring;
- Advise clients on financing structures, security arrangements and regulatory matters;
- Coordinate transaction processes and liaise with clients, financial institutions, counterparties and external advisors;
- Support closings and post-closing matters, including perfection of security interests and regulatory filings;
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting banking and finance transactions.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in banking and finance practice, preferably at a reputable law firm;
- Experience in domestic and cross-border financing transactions;
- Good knowledge of Turkish banking, finance and security laws and regulations;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills;
