Paksoy advises clients on all aspects of labour law, including reviewing, drafting, and/or negotiating employment documentation such as employment and consultancy agreements, mutual separation agreements, settlement agreements, unilateral termination notices, retention agreements, and restrictive covenants. We also provide guidance on internal by-laws, trade union matters, and individual and collective redundancy procedures. Paksoy’s labour and employment team works with retainer clients, advising them on their day-to-day employment matters.
Paksoy has significant experience in implementing complex restructurings, including downsizings, collective redundancies, and both permanent and temporary wind-down/cessation of operations. We have also developed strong expertise in preparing employee benefits and executive compensation plans, including performance bonuses, reward/incentive schemes, and share option plans. Our labour and employment practice also supports mergers and acquisitions team by advising on employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions, as well as asset and enterprise transfers. A key component of our labour and employment practice is handling complex litigation. Our employment team works closely with our litigation team, which has significant experience in managing individual and collective employment law disputes.
