We’re Hiring – Real Estate / Projects Associate (Junior/Mid Associate)
Paksoy is seeking a Real Estate / Projects Associate with 3 – 5 years of post-qualification experience to join our Real Estate and Projects practices.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated matters, including real estate acquisitions and disposals, real estate development projects, hospitality, infrastructure and energy projects, commercial leasing, and government concession projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal due diligence reviews covering real estate, regulatory and environmental matters;
- Advise clients on zoning, planning, permitting and other regulatory aspects of project development;
- Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including: property promise to sell agreements; construction and development agreements; EPC and O&M contracts; lease agreements; property management agreements; and hotel franchise agreements;
- Liaise with and represent clients before governmental authorities, including governorships, municipalities and land registry offices.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in real estate and/or projects practice, preferably at a reputable law firm;
- Good knowledge of Turkish laws and regulations, particularly in relation to real estate, land registry, zoning and planning, administrative law, public procurement and government concessions;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and the ability to respond effectively;
- Proactive, detail-oriented and commercially minded approach.
