On 31 July 2026, the sale of Carrefour’s 32.16% stake in CarrefourSA, one of Türkiye’s leading food retailers, to Yeni Mağazacılık A.Ş., a subsidiary of Turgut Aydın Holding and the owner of the A101 discount retail chain, successfully completed following receipt of the required regulatory approvals, including clearance from the Turkish Competition Authority.

The transaction formed part of the joint sale by Carrefour and Sabancı Holding of their combined 89.28% stake in CarrefourSA. Established in 1991 as a joint venture between Carrefour and Sabancı Holding, CarrefourSA operates a multi-format network of more than 1,200 stores across Türkiye.
