We were pleased to be part of the Young ITOTAM’s conference, “How Much State Courts Control in Arbitration?”, held at Istanbul Ticaret University on 16 June 2026.
Our partner Simel Sarıalioğlu joined the panel discussion on the role of state courts in arbitration, sharing insights on the enforcement of arbitral awards in Türkiye as an example of the varying degrees of court control in arbitration proceedings. The panel discussion then continued with an exploration of potential reform proposals in the field of international arbitration.
Thank you to Young ITOTAM and Istanbul Ticaret University for hosting this insightful event.
