GAMA Enerji, a leading Turkish energy company and a subsidiary of GAMA Holding, has entered into a binding share purchase agreement to sell its 870 MW İç Anadolu Natural Gas Combined Power Plant located in Kırıkkale to SOCAR Türkiye. The deal remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
Paksoy is pleased to announce that a team led by partner Elvan Aziz and counsel Zekican Samlı, together with, among others, associate Sibel Postacıoğlu acted as counsel to GAMA Enerji on this transaction, whereas competition law partner Togan Turan and associate Göktuğ Selvitopu advised regarding the competition law aspects of the transaction.
