We are proud to have advised Samsung C&T Corporation and Korean public entities, KIND and PIS Fund, on the Nakkaş – Başakşehir Motorway Project, which has been recognized as the ‘Global Infra Deal of the Year’ at the PFI Awards 2024.
This landmark €1.1 billion project financing brought together a distinguished group of lenders, including EBRD, AIIB, IsDB, ICD, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered, Natixis, UBS and VakıfBank, backed by Atradius, SERV and ICIEC.
Developed by Nakkaş Otoyol Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş., owned by Rönesans Holding and Samsung C&T Corporation and Korean public entities, this transaction stands out as the first financing where Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure provided debt assumption for the financing.
We congratulate all stakeholders on this remarkable achievement and are pleased to have contributed to such a significant infrastructure project.
