12th Istanbul Pre-Moot by Istanbul Bilgi University Law Faculty and Paksoy

We are proud to announce that Istanbul Bilgi University Law Faculty’s pre-moot organisation successfully took place in Istanbul at Paksoy offices and in the premises of Bilgi University from 9th February through 11th February 2024.

Ten national and four international teams attended the competition. Team 470 won the final round and University of Zurich became the first runner up. More than 120 students and 60 arbitrators participated in the competition.

Before the pre-moot, our partner Ms Simel Sarialioglu joined the panel discussion about consolidation of cases in arbitration. Panel members, Ms Candan Yasan Tepetaş, Ms Ece Baş Süzel, Mr Alptuğ Tokeşer and Mr Alper Koç participated in interesting discussions and conveyed inspiring thoughts on the topic. Paksoy lawyers, Simel Sarialioglu, Zekican Samli, Beril Paksoy Yaltı, Özge Mizrahi, Beritan Zorkun Arık, Osman Pepeoğlu, Pınar Noberi, Ilayda Melis Pekmezci, Oğuzhan Karaömeroğlu, Naz Dülgeroğlu and Ceren Özkorkut, took various roles in the organisation including acting as arbitrator.

We extend our gratitude to Ms Ece Baş Süzel and Ms Candan Yasan Tepetaş of Istanbul Bilgi University Law Faculty for their leadership and contributions.
