We are pleased to act as Turkish counsel to Volex Plc, a global supplier of critical power and data transmission products, on its signing of an agreement to acquire Murat Ticaret Kablo Sanayi A.Ş., alongside Gowling WLG acting as the global counsel to Volex for this cross-border and multijurisdictional transaction.
Murat Ticaret, headquartered in Turkey, is a manufacturer of complex wire harnesses and battery cables operating in various countries around the world. The deal value is up to approximately €178.1 million.
Paksoy team was led by partners Elvan Aziz and Serdar Ildırar, and associate Tuğcan Akalın on this transaction, together with partner Togan Turan and associate Gamze Boran with respect to its competition aspects.
