Turkish FinTech company Matriks Bilgi Dagitim Hizmetleri A.S. (“Matriks”), whose software services are very well-known by the persons, professionals and institutions active in banking and finance industry, successfully completed an initial public offering (IPO) and was listed on Borsa Istanbul. This was a local IPO, targeting Turkish investors where individual shareholders sold 38.05% of Matriks shares along with share buy-back, lock-up and EBITDA commitments to investors.
Matriks is trading on Borsa Istanbul as of 6 April 2021 under the symbol of “MTRKS”. This IPO set the record of the highest book-building in Borsa Istanbul’s history by attracting demand of almost 700,000 investors as of the trading date. Strong and record level of investor demand is a good sign to increase the depth of Turkish capital markets and is a clear indication of investors’ trust and confidence in Matriks.
