Ebara Corporation, a Japanese world-leading manufacturer of environmental and industrial machinery, has signed a share purchase agreement on 21 December 2020 for the proposed acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Çiğli Su Teknolojileri A.Ş., as a result of which the respective entire issued shares of Vansan Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a leading Turkish pump manufacturer and Vansan Makina Montaj ve Pazarlama A.Ş. shall be indirectly acquired. The transaction is expected to close within the first half of 2021, subject to customary closing conditions and the approval of the Turkish Competition Authority.
Paksoy is pleased to announce that a team led by Togan Turan (partner) together with Nihan Bacanak (partner) and Miray Cura (senior associate) acted as Turkish counsel to Ebara Corporation on this transaction.
