Telus International, a world-leading communications and information technology company which delivers next-generation digital solutions for global brands, has entered into a definitive purchase agreement on 6 November 2020 to acquire the artificial intelligence business of Lionbridge, a market-leading global provider of crowd-based training data and annotation platform solutions used in the development of artificial intelligence algorithms to power machine learning. The acquisition will be at a purchase price of approximately USD 935 million and is expected to close on 31 December 2020.
