We have acted as legal advisor to IFC on its investment in Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş.’s inaugural issuance of USD 100 million Floating Rate Digitally Native Notes (DNNs) due 2030 on Euroclear’s Digital Financial Market Infrastructure (D-FMI).

This landmark transaction marks both IFC’s first investment in such a Eurobond and Türkiye’s first DNN issuance, representing a significant step toward the digital transformation of Turkish debt capital markets. The financing from this issuance aims to support small businesses, farmers and entrepreneurs in earthquake-affected regions in Türkiye.

The Paksoy team was led by partner Ömer Çollak, together with senior associate Melis Gençol İnce and associate İrem Sabuncu.
