Vis International Commercial Arbitration Pre-Moot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>12th Istanbul Pre-Moot by Istanbul Bilgi University Law Faculty and Paksoy<\/p>\n<p>We are proud to announce that Istanbul Bilgi University Law Faculty\u2019s pre-moot organisation successfully took place in Istanbul at Paksoy offices and in the premises of Bilgi University from 9th February through 11th February 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Ten national and four international teams attended the competition. Team 470 won the final round and University of Zurich became the first runner up. More than 120 students and 60 arbitrators participated in the competition.<\/p>\n<p>Before the pre-moot, our partner Ms Simel Sarialioglu joined the panel discussion about consolidation of cases in arbitration. Panel members, Ms Candan Yasan Tepeta\u015f, Ms Ece Ba\u015f S\u00fczel, Mr Alptu\u011f Toke\u015fer and Mr Alper Ko\u00e7 participated in interesting discussions and conveyed inspiring thoughts on the topic. Paksoy lawyers, Simel Sarialioglu, Zekican Samli, Beril Paksoy Yalt\u0131, \u00d6zge Mizrahi, Beritan Zorkun Ar\u0131k, Osman Pepeo\u011flu, P\u0131nar Noberi, Ilayda Melis Pekmezci, O\u011fuzhan Kara\u00f6mero\u011flu, Naz D\u00fclgero\u011flu and Ceren \u00d6zkorkut, took various roles in the organisation including acting as arbitrator.<\/p>\n<p>Paksoy is pleased to sponsor and co-organize this event which contributes to the future arbitration practitioners\u2019 advocacy skills and experience.
